We have had this dream for quite some time to travel to the Grand Canyon. We thought that we could make the trip in a travel trailer and so we bought the Grand Design Toy Hauler. After doing some research and talking to others we soon realized that a trip of this magnitude will take more than just a few weeks. So I came up with this crazy idea and asked Susan what she thought about selling everything and buying a Class-A motorhome to travel the country full-time in.
We mapped it all out on our 20/20 Vision Board and started working towards this dream. In 3 short months we sold our home, we sold my truck and Susan’s Cherokee and we bought a Jeep Wrangler that we could tow behind our Rig. If that’s not enough, we also found and purchased our motorhome which we now refer to as Destiny. We flew out to Michigan and drove it over 900 miles to get her home and she now waits in storage until mid April at which time we will move in to her and get ready for our journey.
The hardest part now is the waiting as we sit here in our 1 bedroom apartment counting the days!
