Venture In RV Resort

10/09/20 – 10/12/20 – Show Low Arizona

Venture In RV Resort located in Show Low Arizona, was just a short stop on our journey. The park was a 55 and over park so we had to sneak in! Not really but it was more of a retirement community and there was not much to see in the area so we only stayed for a few days and then moved on.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park

10/06/20 – 10/09/20 – Santa Fe New Mexico

Santa Fe Skies RV Park was right in Santa Fe New Mexico. The park was really cool with great views and spectacular sunsets. We had a chance to explore Santa Fe and went to an awesome restaurant called Tomasita’s .

We also had a chance to visit Loretto Chapel, the home of the miraculous staircase.

Angel Fire RV Resort

09/30/20 – 10/06/20 – Angel Fire New Mexico Angel Fire RV Resort was one our favorite stops. Seated at 8600 feet above sea level and surrounded by mountains in every direction. Sunset in Guymon OK

Mustang Run RV Park

9/24/20 – 9/29/20 – Yukon Oklahoma This park was just outside of Oklahoma City which we found to be quite beautiful. It is a huge city with a population similar to Boston but it has over ten times the area in square miles. For this reason it is a great city to explore during Covid-19 because social distancing was quite easy. The city has a spectacular...

Downtown Riverside RV Park

9/21/20 – 9/24/20 – North Little Rock Arkansas This was a cool RV park right on the Arkansas River looking across to the city of Little Rock. Right near the park was an elaborate foot bridge, which as it turn out, lead directly to the William J. Clinton Presidential Library. Unfortunately it was closed due to Covid. During our stay we also got to tour the...

Tom Sawyer’s Mississippi River Park

09/15/20 – 09/21/20 – West Memphis Arkansas After leaving Alabama on short notice to avoid hurricane Sally, Susan stumbled across this hidden gem of a park right on the banks of the Mississippi river. Just about every site had a spectacular view of the river and the park turned out to be one of our favorites. Another great thing about the park was...

Hidden Cove RV Resort

09/13/20 – 09/15/20 – Arley Alabama. Hidden Cove RV Resort was a thousand trails RV park in Arley, Alabama. The park was literally in the middle of nowhere. The nearest store was like 20 minutes away and the only real attraction was Smith lake which was quite beautiful. We were originally supposed to stay a full week but decided to push on after just two...

The Ridge Outdoor Resort

09/07/20 – 09/13/20 – Pigeon Forge Tennessee The Outdoor Ridge Resort was one of our favorite stays located in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. It was right next to Dolly World and Gatlinburg TN and nestled in the beautiful Smokey Mountains. The park was pristine with tons of amenities and a beautiful swimming pool. All the sites were pull through with full hook...
